Quebec nursing pay rates
FIQ – Provincial (santé et services sociaux) · Dec 15 2024 – Mar 31 2028
Current
Quebec is the one agreement that pays its differentials as a PERCENTAGE of your base rate, not a dollar amount: evening 7–10 %, night 14–18 %, weekend 5–9 % — each with a further 1 % where the establishment’s 24/7 centres reach 70 % full-time positions. Applying Quebec therefore converts those percentages against your own base rate. In-charge pay is a flat $16.37 per shift rather than hourly, and responsibility and preceptor amounts vary by job title, so they are left at zero here. There is also a 5 % critical-period premium between Dec 15–Jan 31 and Jun 15–Sep 15 that onWard does not model. Overtime is 1.5× beyond daily or weekly hours; double time only in narrow circumstances. A worked statutory holiday pays 1.5× plus an alternate day off, and the two super stats are also 1.5×.

Check this against your own cheque
onWard holds these Quebec rates and applies them to the shifts you actually worked — evenings, nights, weekends, overtime at its own multiplier, statutory and super-stat pay, in-charge and preceptor hours, then deductions and net pay. Enter your own base rate and it works for RNs, RPNs and LPNs alike. Every figure is cited to the clause it comes from, so you can check the app’s work against your contract.
